A. The defects that occur in this breed are Enlarged Hearts, Kidney and Thyroid disorders, Undersize Lungs, Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, Entropion, Ectropion, Bone Cancer, Deafness and Blindness. Selecting the right breeder will be critical to prevent these type of defects in your dog.
Q. Can these dogs stand the heat of summer?
A. Yes, with shelter from the sun and cool water they are just fine in the heat.

A. No, but they do need to be walked or played with to keep them in top physical shape.

A. These are the names of American Bulldog Breeders and some are established bloodlines. There really is no Painter Bloodline since he never bred long enough to establish a bloodline.
